"We will create a unique and beautiful farewell ceremony for your family member"

Providing a fitting tribute for your loved one is part of the grieving process. Reflecting on their life, and what was important to them, is what we can help you with. We can create a bespoke ceremony that encaptures the life of the person who has died. If you have some ideas of what you would like included, but not sure where to start, we can assist you.

Funeral Planning Service

Jessica is also offering pre-funeral planning which includes consultations to discuss and plan the desired ceremony and script writing if requested.

A Celebration Of Life

We became funeral celebrants as we understand how important it is to honour the lives of those who have died in a respectful and personal manner which reflects their character. We want to support the grieving family in the most difficult encounter they have had and to translate their ideas into a memorable occasion.

Everybody has their own unique story to be told; their special moments, funny stories and everything about them which gave them their personality.  This makes their end-of-life-celebration an important and memorable life event. Being a sports or music lover can influence how the ceremony will develop or, equally, they might have let it be known that they preferred a smaller and more intimate gathering. We will compose and deliver a bespoke and respectful ceremony to celebrate the life of that person, always remembering them with happiness and affection.

Celebration of life ceremonies are becoming an increasingly popular choice. A Direct Cremation or Direct Funeral allows the service to celebrate the life of the loved one to be held on the day or on a later date. This can help relatives and friends with their healing journey and allows them to remember them and reflect on all the things that made them that person. The celebration of life ceremonies can also be held anywhere that was a special and meaningful place for the person such as by a fishing lake, a golf course, a chosen venue or in your own home or garden.

A Time To Give

I have spent my career caring and helping ill people as a GP, and I now want to transfer my skills in helping you create a memorable service for your loved one. I am warm and empathic and will guide you to choose what suits your family and support you along the journey.

We're a husband and wife team

Having worked as a GP, I am used to working with other people during times of worry and stress. I have a calm and caring manner and an ability to listen well to help families create a loving and memorable farewell for their loved one. My husband is also used to working in stressful situations and excellent in guidance.

We are a husband and wife team who listen, support and help you translate your feelings and wishes into a beautiful ceremony. Although we work independently of each other, we can provide a useful backup for your ceremony in case of unavoidable illness.

Our funeral service includes:

Firstly, we will arrange a face to face meeting with you to discuss what kind of ceremony you would like. If this is not convenient, we can meet by Zoom but we do like to meet up if possible.

We like to hear all about your loved one and their life, such as where they were brought up, significant family members, hobbies, favourite music and what they most enjoyed doing. Funny stories about them are really helpful and information about unique characteristics, but the most important thing of all is what you remember and treasure most about them.

We can advise on readings, poems and music.

We can also write the eulogy for a family member to read themselves or we can deliver the whole ceremony.
